Why Shilajit ?
What is shilajit?
Shilajit is a naturally occurring rock minerals and organic substances that have been compressed by layers of rock mixed with marine organisms and microubial metabolites.
It takes thousands of years if not millions for Shilajit to ooze out of the tectonic plates, from the decomposition of plants. The brownish-black resin is rich in minerals and contains an important compound known as fulvic acid, its one of natures beautiful and slow processes which we still have very little to no knowledge of.
Where does shilajit come from?
Shilajit is harvested in the Himalayan mountain range somewhere from Afghanistan to Nepal including all other countries near the Himalayas, it can be found in other mountain ranges as well but in a very small quantity. after harvested in rock form then it goes through a purification process to make sure all impurities are taken out, It is not synthesized in a laboratory or a generic combination of different vitamins produced in a factory.
What are the components ?
Shilajit is said to have more than 84 ionic trace minerals, it's mainly composed of fulvic acid and humic acid, traces of minerals such as Calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, sulfur and magnesium, iron, iodine, zinc, copper, sulfur, chromium, manganese, selenium, carotenoids, retinol, B, C, and vitamin E and many more can be found.
Secreted from particular rocks mainly in the Himalayan mountain range, shilajit is a pale-brown to blackish-brown exudate, composed of rock humus, tar-like substance.
